Our Study Reveals Top 10 Worst Celebrity Faces

Research conducted by the UK's only cosmetic treatment review website has found that 39% of Brits value appearance over talents and achievements. The research also reveals the top 10 worst celebrity faces.

The UK's only Cosmetic Surgery/ review website asked 1,356 people across the UK which celebrity has the 'worst face'. Musician James Newell Osterberg, more commonly known as Iggy Pop, tops the poll with 69% of Brits agreeing he has the worst celebrity face.

The research was commissioned by www.goodsurgeonguide.co.uk to spread awareness of poor Cosmetic Surgery/ and how it can affect appearance. When asked the multi answer question, 'Why does this person have an unattractive face?' 52% of people agreed that Celebrity it-girl, Jodie Marsh looks 'fake' while almost a quarter, 24%, believe Jackie Stallone has a 'scary' face.

Top 10 worst celebrity faces are:

Iggy Pop - 69%

Jodie Marsh - 64%

Donatella Versace - 61%

David Guest - 58%

Cher - 56%

Pete Burns - 52%

Mickey Rourke - 47%

Jackie Stallone - 43%

Janice Dickinson - 39%

Melanie Griffith - 37%

The study shows that over a third, 34%, of Brits think that good appearance makes a person more of a role model and 13% believe that unattractive people aren’t as inspirational.

81% of those polled agreed that celebrities are inspirational, however only 22% believe that the celebrities previously mentioned are seen as role models. When asked, "Why is this celebrity not a role model?" 42% agreed that pop singer Cher has "undergone too much surgery".

The research reveals that appearance is valued almost as much as achievements and talents. 39% admitted that they respect beautiful celebrities more than successful celebrities, while 42% admitted to respecting achievements and talents more so than any other trait.

Christiana Clogg, founder of The Good Surgeon Guide commented on these findings,

"I wasn't shocked by the results, but elements disappointed me. It is sad to think that some people value appearance more so than talents and achievements. Donatella Versace is a successful business woman, but due to unfortunate surgery she isn't viewed as a role model."

She continues,

"We commissioned this research because the purpose of our site is to help people considering surgery conduct research and get the best practitioner possible. If people really research their surgeon and their procedure than these surgical mistakes should stop happening and people will be happy with their results."
