Details about Blue Light Therapy

Great for clearing up a range of acne spots, by cleaning the face thoroughly with specially designed products and then being placed under a blue light for a set amount of time depending on the size and the location of the acne you have.

The blue light’s specially designed to kill bacteria; treatment under a red light could follow around a week after the blue light therapy to reduce the redness that the acne may have caused.

Some specialist centres recommend going under the blue and the red light together, as this can save time and money however the results from this can be different to undergoing each individual treatment.

Results will determine how many times you should under-go the treatment, with eight being recommended for most skin types.
