The brow lift / forehead lift procedure involves subtle lifting of the skin of the forehead, this procedure is often combined with removal of underlying muscle and tissue to give a youthful appearance to the upper section of the face, skin around the forehead and also eyes will appear rejuvenated and tighter.

The surgery will involve around 4 incisions to be made behind the hairline with each cut less than an inch long. The surgeon will then identify underlying muscles using an endoscope beneath the skin line and will then remove some of these to get the smoother and younger looking forehead. When the incisions are closed, they will be done so horizontally to give additional lift to the brow and forehead. The operation can usually take 1-2 hours to complete and normally involves an overnight stay at hospital.
