Combined Restrictive & Malabsorptive Procedure is where a person has their stomach surgically altered in order to loose weight in the form of excess fat. How the majority of these methods work is by altering the digestive track so that food eaten is not properly broken down meaning that not all nutrients and calories are absorbed into the body over time causing weight loss. This combined with another method to effectively tie a band around the stomach so that only tiny amounts of food can fit through at any given time, the patient’s body responds to this by causing the patient to feel fuller of minimal amounts of food.

This method is one of the most extreme ways of loosing excess fat without involving liposuction which can leave some areas of the body saggy or even still fat also it is very easy to put weight back on after having liposuction. this procedure is a very effective way of loosing fat almost naturally so the body has time to adapt and loose fat evenly throughout the body but be warned this is not for the faint hearted and should not be considered if the patient does not want to drastically loose weight.
