Details about Labiaplasty

Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure to reduce the length of the female labia which surround the entrance to the vagina. Labiaplasty may be performed due to damage that has been caused during childbirth or due to pain associated particularly with long labia. • However the procedure is also regularly performed for cosmetic reasons, some women feel embarrassed if there labia are long and hang a long way down, it can cause them relationship problems as they are not willing to take their relationships into the more intimate stages. Labiaplasty can now be carried out using a laser, the area will be swollen following surgery but this will ease within 2 weeks.
