Laser genesis is a simple laser procedure which aims to improve the appearance of your skin. It reduces the appearance of wrinkles and scars and tightens up large pores reducing them in size giving a more even skin tone. Laser genesis can be carried out on the face, neck and chest. Laser genesis uses a laser to penetrate the skin and stimulate collagen production. The top layer of skin is undamaged so no recovery period is required. The laser can also be used to reduce the overall redness of the skin by zapping small blood vessels which are very close to the skins surface. Most women find laser genesis treatment an enjoyable experience, the skin is gently warmed and a pleasant tingling is felt for up to a day after the procedure. Laser genesis only takes about an hour to perform and no anaesthetic or medication is required. The results can be seen immediately but to achieve the optimum results 4-6 sessions are recommended spaced about a month apart. The finished result can be expected to last for several years after laser genesis treatments have stopped.
