Details about Laser Tattoo Removal

Laser tattoo removal is relatively new to the cosmetic surgery world it allows patients to have tattoos they are unhappy with completely removed from the skin. The procedure works by bombarding the tattoo ink with light energy, the light passes through your skin layer to act directly on the ink, breaking it down over a course of treatments into small particles your body naturally absorbs, gradually absorbing the rest of the ink and naturally processing it.

Complete laser tattoo removal requires multiple sessions, typically spaced at least 6 weeks apart. At each session, some but not all of the tattoo pigment particles are effectively fragmented, and the body absorbs the smallest fragments over the course of several weeks.
