Details about Lip lift

A lip lift is a treatment that lifts your upper lip up higher and broadens your smile so that more of your teeth are seen when you smile. This gives you a more youthful appearance. Youthful lips are large and have a slight pout. A lip lift is a permanent procedure costing between $1500 and $2500 dependant on your individual case . • It’s often performed in response to the ageing process, a consequence of which is the shrinkage of the lips as fat is removed from them. • In an upper lip lift the position of the upper lift is elevated with respect to the upper teeth this reduces the area between the upper lip and the base of the nose. • The amount of visible pink tissue also increases giving you wider lips. It is a relatively simple procedure requiring a local anaesthetic to numb the area. • An incision is then made below the nose and a small strip of skin and tissue is removed before the upper lip is elevated into its new higher position. The incision will then be sewn up and left to heal, you may have to return to the clinic to have the stitches removed.
