Women must be aware that lipodissolve is still an experimental treatment it has not yet been approved by the FDA and studies into its safety are still underway. Lipodissolve can be used on many areas of the body including belly, thighs and cheeks. Lipodissolve is a simple injection. A compound found in soya beans is injected the fatty area. This compound is already found naturally in the body as it protects the liver so there is no risk of an allergic reaction. The fat then simply melts away. Researchers are not aware of what then happen to the fat there are two main theories, one suggests that it migrates to other parts of the body which have fat cells such as the arteries, however this shouldnt cause any problems as the amounts are minimal. Other research suggests that the fat is excreted from the body. Immediately after treatment you should expect redness, swelling and muscle aching but within a few days this will ease. The number of treatments required varies but between 2 and 4 is normal, spaced about 8 weeks apart. The procedure costs between $375 and $1500 depending upon the area where you wish to receive the treatment.
