Details about Lipolite

Lipolite is a relatively new treatment often performed to complement other body contouring procedures such as liposuction as it can be used on much smaller areas. It is a laser process which is used to get rid of stubborn pockets of fat that neither exercise nor diet can shift. • Lipolite can be performed on many small areas of the body including on the face, neck and bra line. Firstly a local anaesthetic is administered; a tiny tube called a cannula is then inserted into your skin where a small incision will have already been formed. • A laser beam is then directed via an optical fibre through the cannula this liquefies any fat deposits that are present in the treatment area. The liquefied fat is then removed through the incision that was made in your skin earlier. • After Lipolite you may feel slightly bruised and a bit achy but this will wear off in a few days. Only one treatment is required which takes around an hour to complete. Your body shape wil then improve in shape over the next 6 to 8 weeks until you achieve your desired shape.
