Microdermabrasion is a treatment using tiny mineral crystals to different levels of penetration.
Most if not all non surgical clinics and beauty salons offer this non surgical treatment.
Minerals are called crystals because they can contain aluminium salts, sodium bicarbonate or common table salt known as sodium chloride. To stimulate the bodies collagen and skin cell production these crystals are moved across the skin loosening and partially removing the uppermost and outer layers of skin, this improves the skins texture. Microdermabrasion is often offered in combination with other treatments ranging from a simple massage or facial.
