Details about Mini lift

Ageing is a natural process that we cant stop, but we can try and reverse some of the effects to maintain a more youthful look. As we age elasticity in the skin is reduced, as this happens we develop wrinkles and folds particularly around the chin and neck. A mini lift also known as a mini facelift can be performed to try and reverse these changes. A mini lift is a simple procedure and you may leave the clinic the same day. You will be given a local anaesthetic and a mild sedative to relax you. An incision will be made in front of the ear and any sagging tissue is then tightened. Any excess skin that may be present can be cut away and the area can then be stitched up. Sometimes a mini lift is performed using cameras, this lessens the number of incisions that need to be made, therefore reducing the scarring. Additional procedures may also be offered at the same time. Sometimes a mini lift is advertised as a weekend lift this is because you are able to recover within a weekend.
