Rosacea is a chronic inflammatory skin disease of the face, signs include: flushing, redness, pimples, visible blood vessels, a burning sensation, dry skin, swollen skin and thickening of the skin especially around the nose. It is embarrassing for patients and lowers their self confidence. Unfortunately there is no cure for Rosacea, but Orecea could help the condition. Orecea is a drug that is swallowed once a day with a full glass of water, it should not be taken close to mealtimes as it may be less effective. Orecea doesnt tackle bacterial infection but instead tackles inflammation helping you to achieve a better facial appearance. One tablet provides 24 hours of anti inflammatory power for your Rosacea. There are very few side effects reported and those that are, such as pain at the back of the throat are minor. Orecea should not be given to children under 8 as it can cause tooth discolouration in young children whose teeth are still developing. You must tell your doctor about any other medicines that you are taking at the same time because Orecea may interact with them, for example the oral contraceptive pill is less effective if you are taking Orecea.
