Smartlifting is a laser treatment based on Smartlipo laser technology used at the start of facial rejuvenation surgery including facelift, forehead lift, and neck lift surgery. These surgeries aim to help you regain a younger look. • As the skin ages the collagen in the skin, which gives our faces volume degrades, and the skin loses its elasticity, as a result the skin sags and wrinkles appear. This ageing process can lower a persons self esteem. • Smart Lipo technology uses a laser to remove excess pockets of fat from an area. After a local anaesthetic has been applied to the area that is been treated, a cannula, a thin tube is inserted into the skin. • A laser is then directed down the cannula and melts the fat cells. The fat cells can then be removed by suction. Then the surgeon can continue with the next steps of the surgery whether that be tightening of the skin or filling in wrinkles
