Every women dreams of having perfect skin especially on their faces, but there are many things that can spoil that perfect appearance; areas of pigmentation, acne scars, enlarged pores and fine lines. There are many technologies and suggestions out on the market with suggestions of how to treat these problems but SmartXide could just be the answer for you. SmartXide is a carbon dioxide laser, with each treatment the laser creates thousands of tiny microscopic dots on the skin. Sometimes you may feel a slight burning senstion during the procedure but no anaesthetic is usually required. Generally 3 to 5 treatments are recommended spaced about 6 weeks apart. Immediately after the treatment your skin may appear red and swollen for the first 24 hours. You can return to wearing makeup the following day and we also recommend that you moisturise the skin regularly for the first week as the skin may be slightly dry. Patients can expect to see an improvement in the colour, texture and quality of the skin within a week or two following the treatment, however, more significant improvements will be seen after the series of treatments is complete.
