Teeth whitening

This is a common procedure in a dental surgery and is very simple.

Generally children's teeth are whiter than adults teeth that will grow after the baby teeth have come out.

Teeth can also become stained depending on what kinds of food you eat, and if you smoke.

There are 2 main methods of teeth whitening one is preformed with a high concentration gel and the other is with one much lower.

The high concentration can be either done at a dental practice or at home either one is possible. Whitening is done by applying the high concentration to the teeth with a thin plastic tray for a short period of time.

This produces fast results, the trays should be fitted to retain the bleaching gel, ensuring it evenly and the full tooth should be exposed to the gel.

The trays should stay on the teeth for about 15 to 20 minutes. Once the trays are removed after that the procedure is repeated two more times. Most dental practices use a light to help quicken the procedure. This procedure is harmless and painless to anyone and will not take too long to complete.
