• I am writing just to thank you, Mr Richards and everyone who has been so incredibly supportive and helpful at the Aurora Clinic
  regarding the removal and replacement of my PIP implants.
  
  I had my operation yesterday and was very impressed with the facilities and the staff at the Shelbourne hospital from the gentleman who was on reception at 6.45(!) yesterday morning to all the nursing and medical staff. I must say that after being subject to a large amount of misinformation and evasion for my original clinic, it was so refreshing to be treated with respect and concern during what has been a very worrying time.
  
  I have felt listened too, informed and supported from the moment i made the first call to yourselves and have recommended
  your clinic to a number of friends of mine who are also in same position with the same clinic.
  
  To anyone else in my position whether they have had symptoms or not i would fully agree that the implants need to be removed. Having not had any symptoms but for personal reasons (i.e. emigrating to North America) i wanted to remove the uncertainty created by the PIP
  implants, so I was completely shocked by the condition of one of the implants when i saw it. It had deteriorated to the point where the silicone was cloudy and yellow in colour, which was made all the worse by the comparison of the other implant which was absolutely fine.
  
  The fact that it had not leaked or raptured just compounded the concern that my original clinic's stance still seems to be that they will only act on proof of leakage or rapture. Anyway i am so relieved that this is an uncertainty that i will no longer have to face, and as said my experience was made all the better by the treatment i received at Aurora and its staff
