Dr. Raina Zarb Adami is our resident Maltese doctor. After qualifying as a doctor from the University of Malta in 2004 and completing her housemanship on the island, Dr. Raina Zarb Adami moved to Sydney, where she gained post-graduate experience in general and plastic surgery. She became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2008.
Dr. Zarb Adami’s approach to non-invasive facial rejuvenation and sculpting is unrivalled. She brings passion for quality to a cosmetic practice where integrity, intelligence and striving for perfection flourish. Her artistic eye complements a thorough scientific and surgical expertise.
She is an advanced practitioner with an integrated approach using Botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, skin care, chemical peels and microneedling techniques for facial rejuvenation and enhancement. Her background in plastic surgery allows Dr. Zarb Adami to provide mole removal, scar treatment and split earlobe repair, offering optimal cosmetic outcomes.
Dr. Zarb Adami allows plenty of time for discussion, and discourages patients from taking rushed decisions. She is known to turn away patients if she feels that they would not benefit from the cosmetic intervention in question or if they happen to already look lovely enough! Dr. Zarb Adami continues to attend and present at numerous conferences and workshops in aesthetic medicine and plastic surgery, both nationally and internationally. She is thus always at the forefront of evolving trends in aesthetic medicine. She is the winner of the 2010 Professions Woman of the Future Award and the Aesthetic Award's 2011-12 Rising Star Award. She writes as the Health and Beauty Correspondent for Pink Magazine in Malta and for Aesthetic Dentistry Today, and has recently been invited to be on the advisory board of Allergan. In December 2011 she was featured on the BBC Three Series "Skin Deep: The Business of Beauty" as a contributing expert.
She has successfully trained many practitioners in cosmetic procedures, and is a certified lecturer on the subject. She is the sole shareholder of The Academy of Aesthetic Excellence, which offers foundation and advanced training courses in Botox and dermal fillers.
Dr. Zarb Adami has dedicated time to volunteering as a surgeon with an Australian plastic surgery team operating on victims of burn injuries in Nepal. She also regularly participates in various other international voluntary work projects.
She is currently undertaking a research project as a PhD with the charity organisation RAFT (Restoration of Appearance and Function Trust) to develop an artificial skin – the Smart Matrix – to treat patients suffering from burns and other chronic and complex wounds.

We offer a wide range of non-invasive facial rejuvenation and sculpting procedures, using mainly Botox treatments and dermal fillers. Our treatments include wrinkle removal, lip enhancement, cheek enhancement, non-surgical rhinoplasty, scar treatments, Dermaroller and Obagi Skin Care treatments and peels.
We also offer skin tag removals, mole removals and split ear lobe repair treatment. Dr. Raina Zarb Adami is a surgeon who through her background in plastic surgery has performed hundreds of split ear lobe repairs, mole and skin tag removals with excellent results.

We offer Botox injections for wrinkle reduction because they are a safe, approved and non-surgical solution to many of the wrinkles and facial changes commonly associated with ageing. Botox is a temporary solution and its effects are fully reversible. Although its full benefit may not be seen for a couple of weeks after a treatment, the effects of Botox typically last for about three to four months.
Dermal fillers can be used to successfully revolumise areas that have lost volume and reshape the face without the need for surgery. We use a range of hyaluronic acid fillers, such as Juvederm, Restylane and Teosyal. These are non-permanent fillers and their effects typically last for six to 12 months. Dermal fillers can be administered quickly, with minimal pain, and have an excellent safety record. The results that can be achieved using dermal fillers are stunning and natural looking.
We also run a series of training courses in Botox and dermal fillers through our Academy of Aesthetic Excellence.
