As a practising Nurse, Karen is perfectly qualified to administer the injectable side of the Aesthetic Beauty business. Karen treats each client with kindness and respect. She listens to the needs of the individual client discussing all the benefits that may be achieved with aesthetic beauty, and offers an individual approach to all treatments.

AcuKare is owned and run by Karen Wade, a Registered General Nurse with over 30 years experience in Nursing. Karen has worked as a Sister in both A&E as well as a busy Orthopaedic ward and latterly as a senior Practice Nurse, working in General Practice, specialising in Wound Care, Respiratory Care and Coronary Heart Disease.

Karen developed an interest in complementary therapies while working in the surgery, realising that many illnesses can be helped by using Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, and completed a four year diploma in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture qualifying in March 2004. She has been running her own business since then. Karen also still works part time in the NHS.

During 2008 Karen completed the Facial Enhancement with Acupuncture course and is able to offer a natural alternative for those wishing for Facial Rejuvenation with Acupuncture. This is a completely safe and relaxing treatment enjoyed by many, helping the skin feel fresh, brightening the eyes, and improving the tone and texture of the skin, helping to ensure they feel good at all times. The practice of Cosmetic Acupuncture has enjoyed a long and rich history in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Text dating form 770-221 BC itemised treatments which dealt with Facial Rejuvenation.
